Four years ago, my daughter Maniche was killed by a hit and run driver. Ten hours later, he and his accomplice were home free to enjoy their family while Maniche family was struggling to imagine that she would no longer return home. 

Something has to be done to stop individuals from killing people and leaving the scene. Instead of a slap on the wrist, they should be held accountable. It’s 2024, our society has dealt with hit and run drivers for far too long. Will you make that change?
