Hi Everyone, What a tough loss to the former team yesterday. We all know the game should have been tied! There is always next year. I'm looking forward to the offseason in what the Wild can do to get a quality coach and good hockey trades that hopefully can help us. One part of the offseason that is important to us long term Minnesota fans is to take back what is ours from the Dallas Stars! We want our history back! We want the history of the Minnesota North Stars from 1967-1993. We want our logo. We want our retirement banners of the three not named Modano. We want the name. We want the video footage. We want this so the Wild can either change their name to the North Stars or at least combine their history with the beloved team stolen from us! When I started this petition, I wondered how much support it would get. We made it to 100 signatures! Thank you all for helping make that happen! I've faced some criticism when advertising the position, but have answered everyone. I know this petition is no guarantee we get what we want. What I do know is though if we keep getting more signatures, it will FORCE the right people in the NHL to look. How many signatures is that? I'd like to say 100,000, but I think 20,000 would at least let us have some sort of a response. What does this mean? It means we need all of you to help! Please share this petition constantly. Please be persistent. Persistence is the key to getting somewhere. I've tried Lou Nanne and many Minnesota sports media type. So far, it has fallen on deaf ears with no reply. I expected that. I won't give up. Neither should you. This isn't my petition. This is OUR petition! If critics don't want to listen, we'll force their hand with more signatures! To get where we need to go, this petition could take months or even years. It's up to how we all do as believers of the North Stars and their history. What can you do for 5 minutes each day to help us grow in signatures? Who can you share it with? Who can you contact to help us get coverage? Keep trying! The first 100 signatures are out of the way. To get people to believe in our cause from the beginning is tough. It's time to move on for more! Thank you all! I appreciate it.
