15 Mar 2017 — UPDATE: Since this whole deal started UUWS has had a few confrontations with Tim Giago and his plan to help a white man (Jim Czywczynski) sell 40-acres of land on Sacred Ground. He is supported by Mario Gonzales on this issue. Our spiritual leaders and the descendants have opposed this deal with the devil since day one. UUWS has posted a petition with about 6,000 signatures and have posted lots of info to shut this deal down. We have hammered this issue hard for the last year! UUWS has been blocked from Native Sun news for our efforts. We will stand strong against this and will continue until the land is handed back to the tribe! keep in mind Tim Giago has no say or authority here! Those that died at the massacre and remain buried at wounded knee are from Cheyenne River and Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s, they were not Oglala’s, (There are Oglala’s buried there now it is sacred for all Lakota's) Chief Big Foots band went to the Oglala’s seeking protection.
