Six months ago we had 1,065, 172 signatures! That was the total amount of signatures received since our last update, which can still be seen on our petitions page at change.org! Yet the total for todays signatures is 1,065,099 that's a difference of 73 signatures! So, why do we have 73 signatures LESS than we did six months ago? Well according to change.org they verify and delete signatures that are given when emails or addresses are submitted incorrectly. So those who may have signed the petition may have been removed because of it. All the more reason to continue to push and share the petition. We want a "steady increase" in signatures - not idle time - where each and every signature can be "scrutinized" then DELETED! We also want people to take their time when signing it and provide ACCURATE information regarding and email or address.

The public does not have access to your contact information and the information provided simply verifies you are an actual person, not a robot and that no technical scheme is involved to fraudulently generate signatures. I hope that clears up any questions concerning the sudden decrease - but we've been here before and saw an even greater "drop" than that! Nevertheless, "we continued" and surpassed it and continue in moving forward!
