Thank you for signing my petition and supporting my campaign to change attitudes towards teaching literacy to children with disabilities. Overwhelmed by the incredible response, I have been really encouraged that government will listen and reform education for children like me. Your comments make me realise that this issue is widespread and has captured the hearts and minds of many people. Since starting the petition I have received a letter from Edward Timpson which I have replied to requesting a meeting with him to discuss the matter further.
