She’s almost 70 years old. 

Elena Medo started her entrepreneurial journey as a single mom with four young children. 

She bootstrapped to make it happen, working multiple jobs. 

Over the years, her passion for helping others became apparent.. she invented a better breast pump when hers was uncomfortable, founded a women’s organization and a rape crisis center. She has fostered children. She’s worked as a firefighter and EMT. 

Now she needs us. More than 20 years after founding Prolacta Bioscience so that she could save the lives of sick, preterm babies - she has been forced to defend herself from the very company she founded. She has spent the majority of her 60’s trying to survive this lawsuit. Now as her 70th birthday draws near, it begs the question - is this elder abuse?
