East West Rail petition- final deadline is 9th June!

Deal Supporter,
Thank you signing my petition to encourage the East West Rail Co. to move the EWR route at least 500 metres away from all houses, schools and businesses. The Comberton Village College pinch-point, where the track is just 100 metres away from this leading, 2000 pupil school (see photo) , is just one of many serious problems with this poorly chosen and insensitive route. Most villages between Cambourne and Harston and the MRAO are very badly impacted.
We have 1,200 signatures, but that is not enough! We need more support from local residents in all local villages who feel that improvements should be made to this massive infrastructure project.
Therefore, if possible, please keep forwarding this petition to as many people as you know to boost support. It could help make some positive changes.
Also, don't forget to send your comments and demands for improvements to EWR Co. to: contact@eastwestrail.co.uk (section 17, 'other' for general comments) by 9th June. Also please ask for changes from your local MP, Pippa Heylings at: pippa.heylings.mp@parliament.uk. the Minister for Transport Lord Peter Hendy: hendyp@parliament.uk and the Secretary of State for Transport, Heidi Alexander: heidi.alexander.mp@parliament.uk
Thank you again. Kind regards, Paul Brown.
