No Care locally and Unable to be Referred Further Afield

On creation of the petition we had no care locally in the North West but we had asked for a referral to St Georges in London, as we figured this was our only hope of getting the care for our son.  However we have since been told that our referral to St Georges cannot be put through due to costs!

Absolutely unbelievable in this day and age that your child cannot get the care they require due to costs!

So not only is there no care locally, we are also now being refused referral to care further afield.  So Children are left with NO CARE at all to address their medical needs.

I have been contacted by families who's children are now in wheelchairs due to drop tics, wearing protective helmets due to head banging tics, wearing gloves due to punching tics, children requiring 24 hour care for their safety and these children are now without care!

Tourettes causes pain and exhaustion daily, the tics can be dangerous and yet there is no help for these children.

Thank you to everyone who has signed the petition and also shared, we are extremely grateful.  So far we have had over 3500 signatures, which is amazing!  Ideally we want to get to 10,000 signatures to enable the petition to be brought to parliament.  Please can we ask that you share the petition across social media platforms and WhatsApp groups and also ask employers if they would email it out to colleagues.  We would really appreciate it.
