So far, more than 50,000 people have joined our effort to save more than 50,000 sea turtles in the Gulf of Mexico and south Atlantic Ocean. Thank you for standing with us to urge President Obama and NOAA to take urgent action and reduce the number of sea turtles killed each year by shrimp trawl nets. As part of Discovery Channel's #startwith1thing campaign around the film Racing Extinction, we will continue to fight for new and improved Turtle Excluder Devices on ALL shrimp trawl nets in the United States, saving the millions of pounds of marine wildlife thrown away as bycatch annually.
