This week, Moonee Valley council voted unanimously to endorse a new basketball stadium at Essendon Fields. This is great news. However projects like this have fallen over previously so we mustn't think the work is done.

An appropriate agreement with Essendon Fields Management and obtaining appropriate funding from State and potentially Federal Governments, are both large steps that need to be taken before this project becomes a reality.

Let's keep the pressure on until a kid is bouncing a ball inside the new stadium.
