I would like to thank all of the people who supported me by signing my petition! I am absolutely amazed by the outpouring of support that resulted in over 1000 signatures. I am proud to say that because of all of your support we are able to declare a VICTORY! This afternoon the Superintendent of Schools for Montville Township announced that the controversial summer reading book All American Boys will NOT be assigned to the students for their summer reading assignment. I would like to thank our Board of Education and René Rovtar, Superintendent of Montville Township Schools for reconsidering the book choice for our One School, One Book summer reading. Most of all I would like to thank all of those men and women of law enforcement that put their lives on the line for us every day. It is unfortunate that you do not always get the respect you deserve, but please know there are many students like myself that do respect and appreciate everything you do for our communities.
