Yoshinori Kitase is the producer of Final Fantasy VII Remake and the director of original title in the '98. Kitase san has been interviewed by Kenny Omega, famous wrestler in America and Japan, and they had talked about the Cloud and Co. Remake and other titles of Square Enix, but they also named Parasite Eve.
Kitase was the producer of The Third Birthday, sequel on psp of the saga, trying with Hajime Tabata to reborn the story although they've lost copyright (PE is born as a novel of Hideaki Sena, Square bought its rights and developed Aya chapter as sequel of the novel. After pe2 they've lost rights) but the sequel doesn't made success as we know.
So the producer of FFVII Remake said that he had worked on the third title of Parasite Eve on PSP. Characters are so deep, expecially Aya, he doesn't know if exist any plan about it, but it would be a waste if these characters wouldn't not be used.
