This pause comes amid long-standing concerns about incentivized reviews, where shoppers were allegedly offered perks or discounts in exchange for posting 5-star praise.

Supporters have also raised concerns about The Soap Tree, another store at Scarborough Town Centre linked to similar practices. Recent 5-star reviews there come from accounts that have only ever posted one review, raising questions about authenticity. 🤝
