Kingston's previous article from 2014 on the subject of Lyme is also referred to. The title is “How the new impatient patient is disrupting medicine”. Lyme patients are “impatient” with good reason – the continued denial and dismissal of Lyme & related diseases and the people suffering from their devastating effects is causing serious harm to Canadians of all ages and is also unnecessarily draining our precious health care dollars.
