Over 1000 of you have signed this petition and I want to say a big THANK YOU.

The Akwa Ibom State Ministry for Women Affairs and Social Welfare has released a 24-hours toll-free helpline number for child sexual abused victims (08031230382). This is a very good step in the right direction and more needs to be done.

All school needs to have this number boldly written and every child needs to know this number. Also, every other state in the country should have a helpline number for kids.

May 27th every year is set aside to celebrate children all over the country. This week Thursday is children's day and I want to plead that will all push this campaign further by sharing it on all our social media platform using the #HelplineForKids and write to and/or visit the Ministry of Women Affair and Social Welfare in our states.

We are fighting for the safety of our children.
