Many of you have commented on Tricare's tactless post on Facebook regarding Autism Acceptance Month (If you haven't please visit the post using the link above). Obviously, our voices have not been loud enough, obviously, our pain hasn't been real enough. Time is quickly dwindling.

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (also known as NASEM or the National Academies) is set to start their study this year. It seems likely that it will not be completed and their suggestions implemented before the end of the Autism Care Demonstration in 2023. Which leaves our families asking "What care will be provided after the ACD ends next year?" We encourage all of you to continue to engage, with your community leaders, legislators, military chain of command, and the Defense Health Agency.
