Today, many of us received the 2016 Water Quality Report from the City, who claims to be very proactive and progressive with how they approach issues. While I agree that nothing is more important to anyone's health than water quality, broadband should have been part of this solution. I've posted an article here as to why, but I will also add that with many AI's available to help with just about everything, including water usage in agriculture, broadband is even more important to help us create and maintain a healthy environment and healthy population than ever before. For example, the agricultural industry can use an AI's to make sure they don't over or underwater crops, eliminating the water contamination than can come from the overuse of fertilizers and animal waste run off without this data. They can do this with any data that is fed into the AI and all of it requires broadband. They can even increase their yields while reducing their impact. The article below highlights even more areas, but it was funny to me to read the report, and constantly see the words proactive mentioned when they have been so regressive on broadband which can directly impact water quality in a positive manner.
