Thanks to my Reddit folks

My petition has been up for three days and we've got 1,600 signatures and counting. I've been extremely pleased with the reactions of all of you, I wasn't expecting this response, to be honest. After the events of the past few days where DTJ refused to condemn white supremacy and now seems to be actively defending it, I would like to recommend that you all join your local Indivisible chapter. You should find your reps that aren't calling for impeachment and tell them that if they don't get on board quick, they aren't going to have a job in 2018. If anyone who has signed this petition knows Heather's mother personally, I'd like you to ask her if she approves of this effort to replace the statue. If she does not I will immediately cancel the petition. I don't live in VA so contacting her has proven to be difficult. I imagine she also wants her privacy at a time like this. It's good to hear the State Police kept Heather's memorial Nazi free today. Cheers to them.
