This space on the third floor of the Torpedo Factory was a printmaking studio since the 1970s - until recently. 

Now it’s being billed as a “bar with Potomac views.” A “lounge.”

The tenants were nudged by the City of Alexandria into relocating. Now they’re right in the line of fire for the proposed plan to expel artists from the first floor.

This right here, folks, is what we’re fighting against. 

We just reached 1,500 signatures. Thank you all for your efforts – but the struggle isn’t over. We need to get as many as possible to send a strong message to city leadership: no more of this kind of thing.
