We are nearing 500 signatures/ Update from DGS!

Thank you all for taking the time out to sign, share and support this petition. We are nearing 500 signatures in less than a week!

Quick update- in response to our efforts the Department of General Services (DGS), who would do the repairs and work on the playground responded with the tweet thread stating the surface of the playground was due to be resurfaced after the weather stays above 40 degrees for a week between February 18th and May 14th. I also asked the mayor about the playground at a press event she had Wednesday 2/2, so hopefully that helps too! 

As for the other repairs and improvements for safety, they are to be scheduled, which means we have to keep the pressure up! 

I’m the meantime, thanks so much, and please keep sharing the petition! We have to make sure the city agencies stick to their word and get this done for the children!
