I had someone ask me to confirm whether Berniece was alive, and I learned from a background search that she actually passed away in Asheville, North Carolina on May 25, 2014. I'm not sure why the internet is saying she is still alive. She is buried at Pineville Cemetery, Pineville, Bell County, Kentucky.

Her daughter, Mona Miracle Booth is still alive. She lives in  Asheville, North Carolina.
