Cameras in aged care - the same coverups as Disabilities... I encountered the same thing with my son James - that managers and certain workers of the disability house where he was hurt i.e. the one who was with him when he was injured denied knowing anything - they kept saying they would probably never know what happened to my son and they did not know (and did not want to know I believe) how he go that hit to the head causing it to swell for 6 to 8 months still bruised up to a year - the worker said she never saw it in the first place after she brough him home with the injury and I said she must be clinically blind because everyone who saw James after that were shocked. So the lies went on and on because its all about the money and they dont want to be culpable. The police joined the fray by saying he must have fallen over when my son does not fall over...and is well mobile...the coverups disabilities no verbal kids face is disgusting and despicable and I guess its the same for other such as the aged who cannot speak for themselves that is why we must be the voice for the vulnerable - our children and adult children who cannot defend themselves and the age family members.
We must be their voice and fight for justice or the unjust disabilities and law system will keep walking over them and exploiting their disabilities if we do not stand up.
TV nine news notes (16 November 2020) the terrible situation of an aged care home in Adelaide where scabies was happening for three years...now the workers have spoken up and said its like being in a medieval asylum...old people moaning and crying out for help because they are in pain...
one of the relatives of a woman, her husband and son, went to Current affair and he himself had caught the same disease from visiting his wife in the aged care home Kindred...
Many they said do not have relatives and are all alone...what are they left just to rot and be treated so despicably because they are old? Because of the photos and complaints the man took to a politician...the shocked politician went and saw the facility himself - Frank Pangello (South Australian Best Part) now want s CCTV cameras in all aged-care facilities...
the standard of care lifts he said when you have CCTV cameras
I have to agree
I have met people who put the CCTV cameras in the disability houses where their non verbal child was put in care... they actually caught someone hurting her who then left...after the parent had been copping flack for wanting to put cameras in to protect her child.
However people stopped bullying, stealing and doing the wrong things in that disability care house - lucky for the poor vulnerable disability kids that go in there...the CCTV works in that it acts as a deterrent...and also calls out on
real evidence of what really happened in an 'incident' of harm. It brings accountability but it also brings prosecution for those who would hurt and abuse or even neglect those in their 'care' .
This is helping then true justice and without justice the vulnerable will have a miserable existence and more broken hearted parents will not see the justice for their children even adult children when wrong is done to that vulnerable non verbal person...even when they can speak their testimony is not given credibility by the police in any case. Literally.
Join with me to stand on 3rd December 2020 Thursday 12pm at town hall Sydney and walking to Hyde Park with our signs to call for those CCTV Cameras and protection and Justice for the vulnerable who cannot defend themselves
