Hello All! I will be attending the Melbourne Aged Care Crisis meeting on Thursday June 28th at the St Kilda Sports Club, 66 Fitzroy Street, St Kilda. Organised by aged care advocate, Heather Mansell Brown, there will be a panel of experts including Lynda Salterelli and Dr Michael Wynn from Aged Care Crisis to discuss the current state of aged care in Australia and what can be done to improve this very broken system. We need to be advocates for those who cannot speak for themselves. We hope to hear from aged care staff regarding their experiences of aged care facilities as well as families and friends of people in care. The Media will be attendance and the meeting will be filmed for an upcoming television news program. I hope to meet you at this very important event. And please share the petition , we hope to get it up to 250k signatures before handing it to the minister. Bye for now, Jane x
