Hello everyone, 

I am eternally thankful to every one of you! There are a few more things that I would like to share with you all in regard to the proposal form for legislation. 

1.  An AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) should be accessible at every public pool as it is essential to help save a person(s) life, and all children under the age of 8 who have not taken swimming courses must be wearing a safety vest or safety equipment. 
2. There should be a drowning alarm at every public pool and it should be linked to the police and fire department. This is essential because if someone was drowning then the first responders would be notified immediately. Every second counts when a person has drowned. (This idea is the same idea as the fire alarm. I credit this idea to my friend who is the director of a daycare)
3. There should be video surveillance in every public pool. This is essential because it would help to see what truly happened and it could help keep the pool area safe.
4. There should be CPR posters in every public pool and all pools that are manufactured. This is essential because it would show how to perform CPR on infants, young children, and adults for those who do not know how to perform CPR. 
5. There should be free CPR classes for parents and children. Also, for all grade levels, there should be an assembly each year that would provide water safety, how CPR is performed, and drowning awareness. Furthermore, it should be made a requirement that all grade levels should be required to learn how to swim in physical education, and for younger children, the swimming courses should be free or more affordable.
