Bury Council OK site for Victoria Wood statue

Hello all Although not linked in to this petition, I am really chuffed that it looks like there may be a statue on its way! Chris Foote-Wood's campaign to raise £20k for the statue has so far reached £5k and Bury Council have chosen a site, so fingers crossed he'll get there. We may get the chance to choose our favourite "Have you seen 'er" character after all. We'll see x
