Today is Walt Disney’s birthday. He was born in 1901. He is known for his contributions to the entertainment industry. He co-created the Disney Company alongside his brother Roy O. Disney. The Disneys created Mickey Mouse, who is one of the most well known animated characters of all time. Steamboat Willie was the first animated thing to utilize sound. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was the first animated film and the first to use technicolor. Between him and his brother, Walt was the dreamer. He didn’t let anyone’s doubts slow him down and he impacted the world in several ways. I feel like his journey is inspiring and I’m not letting anything slow me down with this petition.
