The company causing the smell was fined and was required to give an action plan to the DEP. Thank you for signing and supporting this petition! With out your help we would still be dealing with this issue. Thank you to the Dade City mayor and commissioners that showed up to the meeting and asking the right questions to get us here. Thank you to the county commissioners working in the background. MOST IMPORTANTLY THANK YOU DADE CITY WE DEFINITELY SHOWED THEM YOU DON'T MESS WITH A SMALL TOWN! Now, I know that it is a working progress and there will be moments where we might have the smell but it is definitely a start.
