Hope this message finds you well. It's been a month since we requested Leeward Community College to reconsider the cancellation of our Hawaiian 102 class for next semester. Unfortunately, we've had absolutely no response after reaching out to key faculty.
We've emailed the Dean of Arts and Sciences, the Interim Dean of Student Services, the Language Arts Division Chair, and the Full-Time Hawaiian Language faculty member. With no success, we've escalated the matter to the Office of the Chancellor.
Your support is crucial in our effort to reinstate the class. If you're passionate about preserving Hawaiian language education, please help us gather more signatures. We believe that collective voices can make a difference.
