Hi everyone!

This petition has begun to lose traction, and I’d like to address part of the reason that might be happening.

Some people may think this petition is ridiculous and unnecessary since the school is making efforts to make sure we can still get credit and finish our classes, as well as having refunded housing costs to on-campus students. But we are still losing studio access that we paid to have. If we wanted an online education, we could’ve chosen that and only paid 1/3 of the cost, but that isn’t what we wanted. I will also remind the people reading this that not ever student is lucky enough to have their family pay for their school. Some students have to pay their own tuition, pay their own rent and bills and buy their own food. It’s not as simple for everyone as just going to class every day, some people have more to worry about, and especially now because so many people have lost their jobs from COVID-19 and no longer have a paycheck. That is a big reason I started this petition, to help ease some of the financial strain on those people. Understand that you are not required to sign this petition if you disagree with it, but I do hope you understand the motive behind starting it.
