During covid, when the world was on panic mode, we opted to be part of the solution. Without constant city uncertainties, we were set to make a positive impact. Along with child book writing competitions providing scholarships, donations to schools and even assisting McAllen city recreational department with a Pumpkin setup twice or more. They chose to demonize our efforts. No good deed goes unpunished is the old saying.. tonight, an affected agenda driven experienced Lawyer took the helm and berated a humble citizen and made the case he had already formulated in his head. There was no debating him without appearing defensive. It just served to make the bigger case of injustice and scoundery. We anticipated this! What will follow is an acute analysis of their everyday decisions where they hypocriticaly advance certain permit applications which overshadow any accusations brought forth against us. Again, we were approved last year and had no violations. Double jeopardy is a rule any attorney should have learned in grade school!

Good Afternoon, My name is Courtney Hance and I am here today to support Maddie’s Pumpkin Patch. I currently work for a large organization and this past fall we were considering doing a fall festival for our employees and their families. When I called to get a quote for the number of employees that would attend, Rick got back to me shortly saying there would be no cost for our employees due to the nature of our work which is healthcare. You don’t see this gesture very often which was very must appreciated. Speaking as a community member, we need more locally owned businesses in our very fast growing community. Our culture down is heavily centered around being family oriented and with that being said we don’t have too many businesses that cater to this need like Maddie’s Pumpkin Patch does. They are a family owned business that truly cares. Just like they support our community, we are here to support them and hopefully see them continue to grow.
