Hi Team Aaliyah For MAC , Yesterday I had a twitter exchange of info with Aaliyah's brother Rashad (Rad_6) on the status of Aaliyah For MAC Cosmetics. Basically he said that "MAC has not REACHED OUT to him or the Aaliyah Team about the collection." That "We love the support and would LOVE TO SEE IT COME TO FRUITION. BUT IT IS UP TO MAC COSMETICS AT THIS POINT." - Rashad Haughton. He said "It is up to US GETTING MAC to Call them. That all Rashad and team can do is take the call. It's on MAC and US now if it HAPPENS OR NOT. Guys I think if "WE REALLY WANT THIS" we have to TELL MAC we do, consistently! I don't think it is just "Signatures" that is determining the collection or not anymore. MAC MOST LIKELY wants to see on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, email, phone etc people posting about WANTING this and tagging them or contacting them telling them you want this. WE ARE LOUDER IN NUMBERS FLOODING THEM WITH OUR WANTS AS A CONSUMER , WHICH IS A MAC + AALIYAH COLLECTION! Currently I can only think of two brands that do "Collaboration" or "Celeb Collaboration" type collections and that would be Urban Decay Cosmetics and Colourpop Cosmetics. Urban Decay I think would be awesome! They are currently doing the most amazing collection for Gwen Stefani. Open to other makeup suggestions...
