I was informed not long ago that Former President Jimmy Carter had passed away. He was president from 1977 to 1981. He had the longest post presidency of any president at 43 years. it would've been 44 if he had made it another month. As well, he was the longest living president with making it 100 years and almost 3 months. His birthday was October 1.
