After months of stress and uncertainty and not knowing what else to do with the threatened closure of our business, we started this petition. We quickly got over 5000 signatures from our community who also posted comments regarding the importance they felt our facility offered to the community. We sent the petition on to Mayor Wendy Waller of Liverpool City Council along with a letter and within two days of sending it, we received a phone call from the Mayors office to let us know that we had her full support based on the voices from our petition from the community. Council are now working with us to create a pathway to allow our business to continue. This petition changed everything for us and made what seemed like a hopeless situation be one that finally has a resolution to it. It was only through the wonderful support we received from the community that this outcome was possible. Thank-you all so so much!!
