Could vegan cheese pizza be coming to Papa John’s US in the near future? Maybe, according to one Kentucky restaurant! Help make it happen TODAY: Tweet to the pizza giant asking when it will cater to the sizzling demand for dairy-free options!

A Compassion Over Killing supporter recently called a Papa John’s restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky--home of the pizza giant’s headquarters--to ask when they’ll offer vegan pizza on their menu. In response, the manager said they’re hoping to cook something up “very soon.” That answer leaves us wondering: Could vegan cheese be in the works at the nation’s 4th largest pizza chain?

Across the Atlantic, the chain’s already recognizing the sizzling demand for vegan food. Papa John’s UK recently launched not one, but three vegan pizza flavors, along with marmite scrolls--and sold out within 24 hours. And the UK branch has even taken its vegan game to the next level with the addition of cheesy potato wedges.

But Papa John’s US is falling behind by serving misery with every single slice of mozzarella. Each year, over a half million cows languish on dairy farms, forcibly impregnated and separated from their babies, to churn out milk for Papa John’s cheese supplier Leprino Foods.

More than 100,000 of you have signed Compassion Over Killing’s petition urging Papa John’s to take a slice out of cruelty by offering vegan cheese stateside. By dishing out vegan pizza, Papa John’s will make kinder, healthier, and more sustainable options more accessible to millions of people nationwide.

TAKE ACTION TODAY: Tweet at Papa John’s to put vegan cheese on its menu!
