The survey scored each city on a 100-point scale, with a maximum 20 points for each of five categories — affordability, economic health, education and health, quality of life and safety. Longview scored among the top half of all cities for quality of life as well as economic health, but was among the worst in education and health as well as safety. Out of 100 possible, Longview scored 53.44 points. WAKE UP LISD! You are not only failing our children, you are destroying our city. Stop standing behind your smoke and mirrors and FIX our failing education system in our district. The facts don’t lie! You can preach a great sermon, but you are still eating with the devil. As of this morning I have turned over all information to the Texas State Board of Education protecting all identities. It’s time to wake up and do your jobs or get out of our town.
