Since I have sat down with Dr.Mack last Thursday and he stated that he doesn't understand why the staff of lisd fears retaliation from the administration and superintendent, PLEASE show up to the question and answer forum at Life Point church, which is the old northloop 6 theater at 6pm Monday the 30th. I will be unable to attend due to my work schedule I will be out of state. But my reasoning behind this is for the few board members that will be there to see there is a problem if large groups of teachers and staff show up to fill the seats. I'm not asking for you all to ask questions, but what I am asking is to stand up for what is right and let your presents be shown in force. With all of your help, they will see there is an issue. I will contact local news in the area, and make sure this will be covered. To make a change we must ALL show them there is a problem with our district, and it can not be swept under the rug. You all deserve a better work environment and the tools needed to do your job educating our children. It's the action, not the fruit of the action, that's important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there'll be any fruit. But that doesn't mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result. Please share with all LISD teachers and staff. This is our chance to make a difference. Thank you, Jason Bates
