Hi everyone! It’s been a while since my last update. Then, I was excited beyond belief that this very important petition had passed 100 supporters. So you can imagine how I’m feeling today, waking up to over 600 signatures and counting! Together, we’ll make a huge difference. But the registries are still broken, and what happened to me, is far from isolated. It is far too easy for registrations to be falsified, or changed, (either mistakenly or deliberately). And I now know the problem isn’t isolated to NSW. We trust these companies to protect our pets from loss and theft, and us from heartbreak, and yet they use closed systems to protect their bottom lines and trade secrets instead. The legislation needs to change to make linked registries mandatory. Even though you’ve signed, the job is far from done. We need more voices. I encourage you to keep sharing this with your friends and family on your Facebook pages, and in any other ways you can think of. Thankyou again. Ben
