Greetings Rockland skatepark advocates! We have some cool news today- legendary 80's skater Steve Alba has signed our petition! (Check out his Nine Club interview here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Su6GoZ9Kjx8

Known as "Salba" throughout the skate world, he is famous for creating the first ever board to have concave which was the precursor to the type of deck we ride today. "Salba" is also known as a pioneer for pool skating. He would seek out and shred abandoned swimming pools and water pipelines throughout California- a tradition that he has upheld from the 70's till present day. It is guestimated that he has cleaned out and skated over 5,000 pools!

Our petition is up to around 130 people. Let's keep this thing going till March 31st. It would be awesome to try for 300 signatures by then. I look forward to meeting all of you when we begin public Zoom meetings. Good luck and spread the word!
