We love to celebrate together — but fireworks cause real suffering for many of our neighbours, pets, and wild animals.

💔 Veterans and trauma survivors experience distress and flashbacks

💔 People with dementia or anxiety can become frightened or disoriented

💔 Dogs, cats, and birds panic, flee, or get injured

💔 Fireworks pollute the air and harm wildlife habitats

We’re asking our local council to:

 1. Ban private fireworks and limit displays to licensed, quiet, or eco-friendly alternatives

 2. Educate the public about the harm fireworks cause

 3. Encourage peaceful celebrations like laser or drone shows
