Hi everyone, Due to the HUGEa mount of support this petition has earned, the developer is holding an additional community meeting TOMORROW, TUESDAY, MAY 3RD @ 5:00 PM on ZOOM (login info below).
In order to ensure that we speak with a unified voice, we are asking everyone to make a public comment using the following a script:
- Hello, my name is ______, and I signed the petition to started by the Historict West Village Block Club.
- [If applicable:] I'm also a West Village resident and/or member of the West Village Association and/or Historic West Village Block Club, etc.
- Like the majority of West Village residents, I share the same strong concerns about this development, including:
- the DEMOLITION OF HOMES in a PROTECTED HISTORIC DISTRICT,
- the SCALE of the proposed building being TOO LARGE in height, setbacks, and number of units,
- and the INADEQUATE PARKING, ACCESSWAYS, and SEWER/STORM DRAINS for a building of this size.
- In particular, I'm most concerned about: _____[Fill in whatever you're most passionate about here.]
- I ask that the developer engage in a productive dialogue with West Village residents to resolve these critical issues. Thank you.
