In case you were wondering, the fight is still not over - the Flag is still not free.
We have been holding our breath waiting for action following the Senate Inquiry's report on the 13th October 2020...but still, nothing.
To increase the pressure for change, we have added a line in the sand to our call for action and have updated this incredible petition.
The 12th July 2021 is the 50th anniversary of the Aboriginal Flag. We are calling for change to liberate the Flag from the licensing agreements that currently hold it hostage before this date so that we can celebrate this special birthday in the way that we should be able to, freely.

Since the Senate Inquiry in to the Aboriginal Flag released its findings on the 13th of October, there has been no visible movement or public statement on the actions to Free the Flag from Minister Ken Wyatt's office.
It's time to #FreeTheFlag, it's time for #FlagRightsNow.
With the 50th anniversary of the Aboriginal Flag fast approaching on the 12th July 2021, we are asking that the flag be free to celebrate before special birthday.
The #FreeTheFlag campaign gained huge momentum in 2020 and lead to a Senate Inquiry following the mass support and public awareness during AFL's Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
The Senate Inquiry recommended that the Flag be free from the licensing agreements it is current shackled by.
It's time to make that happen. It's time for #FlagRightsNow
We cannot wait to see the Aboriginal Flag back in action and displayed proudly once again!
