The DRAFT Plan review consultation period has ended and the decision-makers are now going through all the submissions.

The marine environment and recreational fishing will greatly benefit from the REMOVAL of the Red Cross-Hatched Designated Great Sandy Area - which will STOP commercial large mesh netting throughout the Yellow Conservation Park Zones! 

We have called for some minor changes to allow recreational fishing in some key areas and know that this petition has assisted in getting the review of the Great Sandy Marine Park to this stage.

Please keep the signatures coming and share this petition with all your like-minded family, friends and contacts - we're only 200 signatures away from 25,000- here, and we also have approx. Five thousand signed locally on paper as well.
