So Labor wins the Federal election and we already had a Labor government in Qld with Meaghan Scanlon tasked with the job of completing the Full Term Review of the Great Sandy Marine Park after the Annastacia Palaszczuk Government was returned to power with support from the Recreational Fishing and environment communities for the 3rd time in 2020. 

BUT STILL NO DRAFT RE-ZONING PLAN!

A bit more history on our Great Sandy Marine Park :-

* Legislated in 2006 with the ANOMALY of a "Red-Cross Hatched" YELLOW CONSERVATION ZONE known as the "Designated Great Sandy Area ( GSR ) " - THE ONLY MARINE PARK IN THE COUNTRY to ALLOW COMMERCIAL NETTING THROUGHOUT YELLOW CONSERVATION PARK ZONES !

* Mid-term review due to be completed in 2012 - NOT DELIVERED!

* Full-Term Review due in 2016 - NOT DELIVERED

* Extension for review to be completed in 2017 - NOT DELIVERED!

* GSMP Re-Instated as it was - with PROMISE to complete the review by 2018 ........

2022 - Here we are almost in June 2022 and STILL NO DRAFT PLAN!
