Today - Thursday 10/1/19 The Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries , Hon Mark Furner MP and Bernadette Ditchfield, the new chief executive of Fisheries Queensland will be visiting Freedom Fishing Supplies - 95 Bazaar Street, Maryborough FROM 10.30 - 11.30 am.

Fisheries Queensland will have information on the fisheries reform processes underway at the moment. They will also be handing out Fisheries Queensland recreational fishing guides .

All members of the public and the media are encouraged to attend - Its a great chance to ask questions and to give local feedback . You don't get this opportunity very often - so please get along and let them know what your key concerns are relating to recreational fishing across our Fraser Coast  :-)

The public discussion paper for our Great Sandy Marine Park Review will also be released next Monday the 14th of January 2019 - so keep an eye out for that as well - with feedback/submissions due to be lodged by the 25th of February 2019 at this stage.
