Firstly, I just want to reach out and thank you all for helping the petition gain almost 1000 signatures in little under 3 days. Your support is playing a crucial part in saving Printworks nightclub from destruction.

Secondly, I want to update you all on how important it is to write a comment of objection on Southwark Council's website. At the moment these comments carry much more weight than petition signatures and are key to stopping the removal of Printworks.

You can comment on the objection of the planning proposal here. 

Alternatively you can visit - planning.southwark.gov.uk/online-applications and search for the reference 21/AP/3338.

You are advised to tick:
‘Over development’
‘Out of keeping with character of area’
‘General dislike of proposal’
‘Conflict with local plan’
‘Increase in traffic’
‘Strain on existing community facilities’
Any others you feel necessary

Please also leave a comment, eg: loss of a globally renowned music venue that has huge cultural value to the community and London/negative regeneration project which destroys existing culture, music and art and replaces it with offices devoid of creativity, culture and community/unnecessary need for office spaces & shops etc!
