Dear supporters,

The great news is that we are almost at 300 signatures (293 to be exact)! Well done to everyone and thank you for your support.

The bad news is that some neighbours have just received a letter saying that the council's planning committee meeting at which the decision about the Beast of Belmore Tower is going to be made is now happening on 26 November. That's only 10 days' notice!

This letter is supposed to have been sent to everyone who has raised an objection and refers to an earlier acknowledgment of objections made. However, many of us have not received either communication, which is symptomatic of the poor communication and consultation that has accompanied this planning application.

We need to make sure that the council is aware of how big the opposition to this development is and we now only have 10 days to make that happen. If we can all spread the news one more time though and get one or two more friends and neighbours to sign, then we could race past the 500 mark, which would be amazing!
