Not just Los Angeles. Shelters are full. Breeders keep breading. Don’t tell me about responsible breeders. There’s nothing responsible about these particular breeders that dump these particular dogs in this particular place. This is disgusting. SHAMEFUL
And of Los Angeles rescues go up there to rescue those dogs… Then there’s less dogs that they can rescue from Los Angeles shelters. See how it works?

This is in Bakersfield 
Backstory: According to many locals in Bakersfield, breeders in the area regularly dump dogs at these outdoor locations…leaving them to starve to death in 105 degree heat.

This incredible woman (in the video) has been feeding them and trying her best to keep them from being SHOT BY LOCALS  and keep them from being eaten by coyotes.

Animal control and police in the area apparently refuse to help, saying they are full at the shelters and there is nothing they can do.

We’re just learning of this ongoing horrific situation- local breeders regularly dumping dogs. Apparently it’s been happening for a long time. My god, will it ever end? Will breeding ever become illegal? Will people ever stop funding this cruelty?  

To all breeders- please stop! Please get a job that doesn’t entail exploiting innocent lives. We already have thousands of dogs we can’t save and you keep creating more. It’s inhumane. It’s immoral. It’s murder. It doesn’t matter if you deem yourself an “ethical breeder” because the reality is, you can’t possibly be one. When so many lives are dying daily, there is nothing ethical about creating more. If you are someone who is thinking about going to a breeder for any reason, I implore you to first spend ten minutes in an animal shelter. If you have even a semblance of humanity in you, you will not buy a dog after those ten minutes.
