The pounds are sooo full it's scary. And when you go to the pounds to network the animals, NO ONE IS THERE. The County has done such a great job of scaring people away by forcing people to make appointments online, no one is showing up to the pounds. Plus, if you call the pounds, there is still over an hour wait to get someone on the phone.

Shame on Director Marcia Mayeda of the Los Angeles County Animal Pounds for continuing to limit Open Shelter Hours to only 3 hours a day.
