Knox Council: On 23rd of February 2026, I tried to ask two questions at Knox Council Meeting.  Mayor Paige Kennett declared facts as “preamble” and “collateral”.  After silencing question 2 Mayor Kennett said “You did very well”.  Knox Minutes have deleted my whole questions - hiding facts from the public.  Are residents and cats, Knox's “collateral” damage?
  Motion 187 was meant to help both dogs and cats, instead it actions only free dog-training and dog desexing - but nothing for cats.  Knox Manager re-worded the Motion - inactioning intensive, targeted, cat desexing.  Councillor Lockwood says “I was tricked”.  Cats are reduced to only a paper feasibility report due in December.  Knox says “no money for cat desexing”.  Jennifer Cotterell, a qualified expert, made a feasibility report for Knox showing that Knox is spending more on impounding than cat desexing would cost. USA revoked curfews 'leash laws' as ineffective without an identifiable owner.  In Ohio USA the Highest Court ruled that all cats are protected as companion animals.
