Local newspaper admits that street modifications are a step too far

So, in the petition material I proposed that the modifications to the streets in Almondbury by the Council are not acceptable and that the majority of local people in the area did express dissapointment and dislike of these changes that severely spoil the charismatic historical feel, look, charm and historical preservation of what is left of the tradition vintage village.
The selection of King James School for upgrade and the upgrade of the CO-OP being the primary factors in this.. added to the Earl Dartmouth camp development proposals.
So its encouraging for some glimmer of hope in this Examiner story on the front cover today actually admitting that these "modifications" to the streets might not be such a good idea or benefit after all.
